None.
Ghost QR does not collect any personal data, including:
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No advertising identifiers
- No device fingerprinting
- No location data
- No contact information
- No scan history uploads
- No crash reports sent to us
Data Stored on Your Device
Ghost QR stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Scan History: A record of QR codes and barcodes you've scanned, stored in your device's local storage
- App Settings: Your preferences like haptic feedback and auto-copy settings
This data never leaves your device. It is not synced to iCloud, not uploaded to any server, and not accessible to us or any third party.
Network Connections
Ghost QR makes zero network requests.
The app works 100% offline. It does not connect to the internet for any reason. You can verify this by using the app in airplane mode—every feature works without connectivity.
Third-Party SDKs
Ghost QR contains no third-party SDKs or frameworks, including:
- No Firebase or Google Analytics
- No Facebook SDK
- No advertising frameworks
- No crash reporting tools
- No attribution or marketing SDKs
The app is built using only Apple's native frameworks (SwiftUI, AVFoundation, Core Image).
Permissions
Ghost QR requests only the permissions it needs:
- Camera (Required): To scan QR codes and barcodes. Camera data is processed on-device and never recorded or stored.
- Photo Library (Optional): Only requested when you choose to save a generated QR code. We never access your existing photos.
Children's Privacy
Ghost QR does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Our commitment to collecting no data will not change.
